Hunter and regional overseas satellite operators: Establishing valuable vendor relationships

Hunter has longstanding vendor relationships with Koreasat, Russian Satellite Communications Corp (RSCC), Thaicom, Singtel and many other regional satellite operators.  Hunter has established deep technical and commercial ties with these companies in order to better serve our clients and address major service gaps that hinder the larger satellite operators.

The Challenge

The overseas operator typically wishes to tap into the US commercial and government markets, but is hampered by cultural, language, and time zone barriers.

The Solution

Over the years, Hunter has made dedicated efforts to establish those vendor relationships with the smaller regional operators to enable a conduit for the end-customer and these regional operators to buy and sell with each other.

In an industry that is evolving quickly, having ready access to information and being able to respond immediately (about pricing, coverage and availability) is a critical factor to success.  Regional operators who lack the market presence in the US and Europe can effectively meet their client needs by directing inquiries to Hunter, who can respond faster and in greater detail than the operators themselves, given the challenges of not being in-country with the clients.
